This Privacy and Cookie Policy (hereinafter: “Privacy Policy”) governs the processing of your personal data by the controller: BV HELCO, trading under the name ‘Helcofloors®’, with registered office at Rue J.B Daudergnies 4 - 7971 Beloeil and registered in the K.B.O. under number 0808972278 (hereinafter: “Helcofloors®”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”).

“Personal data” means all information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify a natural person, such as a name, identification number, place and date of birth, etc.
The term “processing” includes any handling of personal data and covers, among other things, the collection, recording, organization, storage, updating, modification, retrieval, consultation, use, distribution or in any way making available, archiving, erasure and destruction of personal data.
We process personal data for various purposes, whereby only the personal data that are necessary to achieve the intended purpose are processed each time. We process your personal data for the following specific purposes:
Category 1: If you fill out our contact form or place an order without registering: all fields in the contact form, in particular: name, telephone number, e-mail address, IP address, and other personal data that you enter in the open field;
Category 2: Every time you surf to our website, we can collect various personal data about you based on cookies and similar technologies, in particular IP address, surfing behavior and origin. More information about the way in which we use cookies can be found in Article 8;
Category 3: It may happen that we have to collect certain personal data about you and/or share it with government agencies in the context of a legal obligation. In the context of a police or judicial investigation or for our money laundering and accounting obligations, we may be required to share or store certain data confidentially with the necessary authorities, in particular: Name, first name, national register number, account number, professional data (education and profession).

For the organisation of our ICT services and marketing services, IT for entrepreneurs uses external service providers who store the personal data outside the European Economic Area for a limited part of the processing.

The personal data are stored and processed by us for a period that is necessary in function of the purposes of the processing and in function of the contractual relationship between Helcofloors® and you.
For legal reasons, we must store all file data for at least 5 years after closing your file. We will also retain your contact details for 10 years after closing your file, in order to ensure the continuity of our services to our clients.
For legal reasons, we must retain your billing details for 7 years from the calendar year following the invoice date. We retain contact details of clients, prospects and contacts for as long as we have a commercial relationship with them and for 10 years after the end of that relationship, in order to ensure the continuity of our services on the one hand and our marketing interests on the other.
6.1. Right of access and inspection:
You have the right to take note of your personal data at any time, free of charge, as well as of the use that we make of your personal data.
6.2. Right of improvement, deletion and restriction:
You are free to share your personal data with Helcofloors® or not. In addition, you always have the right to ask us to improve, supplement or delete your personal data.
You may also request to limit the processing of your personal data. This allows you to freeze the use of your personal data without us deleting it. We are not always obliged and in certain cases may not delete your personal data – this right only applies in the cases and to the extent provided for by law.
